Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3 Honda NSF250RW) goes into round six of the Moto3 World Championship just three points behind series leader Marco Bezzecchi after a brilliant third victory of the year at Mugello. The 20-year-old from Madrid is the fastest rider in Moto3 aboard his NSF250RW and only lost the championship lead after he was taken out by other riders at Jerez and Le Mans. Last year at Barcelona-Catalunya he finished a close third to achieve his first Grand Prix podium at a Spanish venue.
Fabio Di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3 Honda NSF250RW) is five points behind Martin and looking forward to another podium this weekend after crossing the finish line in third place at Mugello, just 0.043 seconds behind the winner, one of the closest podium time margins in Grand Prix history. The 19-year-old has yet to win his first race but is certain that he will make the top step of the podium soon.
Eighteen-year-old Spaniard Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda NSF250RW) is fourth overall and aiming to get back on the podium for the first time since round two in Argentina. Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse Honda NSF250RW) and Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing Honda NSF250RW) hold sixth and seventh in the title hunt, making it five Hondas in the top seven of the championship.
Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing Honda NSF250RW), Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse Honda NSF250RW), Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers Team Honda NSF250RW), Alonso Lopez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda NSF250RW), Ayumu Sasaki (Petronas Sprinta Racing Honda NSF250RW), Adam Norrodin (Petronas Sprinta Racing Honda NSF250RW) and Kaito Toba (Honda Team Asia Honda NSF250RW) are Honda’s other riders in the top 20.
