This weekend the opening round of the 2019-2020 FIM Endurance World Championship takes place at Circuit Paul Ricard, for the legendary Bol d’Or. Kicking off tomorrow (Saturday 21 September) at 1500hrs (local time BST+1) both riders and machines will race non-stop for 24 hours at the 5.673km circuit.
F.C.C. TSR Honda France are looking to kick-start the new EWC season in style and will line up third aboard the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 after today’s final Qualifying, where they were just 0.581 seconds from pole postiton. Freddy Foray, Josh Hook and Mike de Meglio will be looking for a repeat performance, where at last year’s event they were victorious after 24 hours and having completed 698 laps.
Further Honda teams lining up for the Bol d’Or include National Motos who start 18th, RAC41 29th and the Zuff Racing Honda Swiss Team will start 36th. The teams are part of a 56-strong field who will all participate in tomorrow’s 24-hour race.
The 2019-2020 Bol d’Or gets underway on Saturday 21 September at 1500hrs local time (BST+1) and finishes at 1500hrs on Sunday 22 September.
