Three weeks after the amazing home Grand Prix in Edolo, Italy, the Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team has racked up more podiums in the Enduro World Championship.
The seventh and penultimate round of the season took place in a warm Methamis, France, amidst clear skies and high temperatures. Ten special tests took place on very dusty ground, with a Super Straight of about 300 metres to race twice.
After taking two fourth place finishes in the GP of Italy, Davide Guarneri was aggressive and competitive in France with a double podium in the E1 class, thanks to two third place finishes. He is definitely back to full form after four months off because of the crash in the Portuguese GP.
There was an amazing podium for Emanuele Facchetti too. On Sunday he managed to find the right pace and concentration to take the second position in the EJ1 class. This result shows the growth and the potential of the young rider.
It was a double fourth place finish for Thomas Oldrati in the E2 class, who fought tooth and nail for a top-three spot, which he would have taken on Sunday if it weren’t for a fall in the first special test.
The final round of the Enduro World Championship will take place in Germany (13-14 October), while next weekend the last round of the Enduro Italian Championship will take place in San Pellegrino (29-30 September).
