Thrilling weekend for Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team with the fourth and final round of the Enduro Italian Championship in Arma di Taggia, in Liguria.

The team led by Matteo Boffelli won the 250 4 stroke class title with an unbeatable Thomas Oldrati. He arrived at this final round as leader of his class with the Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro and needed two victories to get the title: so it was.

He won on both days, conquering his 10thItalian title after those won in 2006-2007-2008 in 125 2 stroke class, in 2013-2014 in E1, in 2017 in E3 and in 2010-2011-2019 in 250 4 stroke class. To these are added the ones in 50cc Cadets class won in 2005 and in 125 2 stroke Cadets class in 2006. But that’s not all, because in Arma di Taggia Thomas conquered two amazing podiums in the Overall too, finishing third and second, 4 seconds from the victory.

A total supremacy with incredible numbers. In 4 races he gets 38 first and 43 second places in the 250 4 stroke class; 8 first, 11 second and 11 third places in the Overall.

Podium for English rider Daniel McCanney too, 5thand 3rdin the ranking reserved to foreigners. 11thand 10th  for Finnish rider Roni Kytonen.

"I'm really happy, because it was a tough competition. I was the leader, but I had an advantage of just 6 points: I had to win and I hit the objective. It was a great challenge in the Overall with Holcombe and Freeman too. I ruled this season! Thank you to the team, Fiamme Oro Group, my girlfriend and my trainer Balboni. Now a few days of rest and then the last two GPs in Portugal".

Daniel McCanney #43

"I'm very happy. On Saturday I started off a bit slow, especially in the enduro test, and I lost a lot of time. Sunday went better, I was faster and managed to get the podium. The team did a great job on the bike. Congratulations to Thomas for the title!".

"Excellent season finale. Two great wins for Thomas, close to the Overall victory too. Good results for McCanney, who finished with two top five. Still some mistakes for Kytonen. Now we move to Portugal for the last two GPs of the World Championship".
