One month after the first round, raced on 4th-5thJuly in Carpineti -near Reggio Emilia-, this weekend the Enduro Italian Championship was back in Carsoli, in central Italy, for the second round of the season.
The event was initially scheduled in Franciacorta, but the Moto Club RS 77 was forced to cancel it due to the impossibility to guarantee the anti Covid-19 regulations.
This one in Carsoli was a very tough race due to the strong heat and the thick dust, which forced the organizers to extend the times between the riders to increase the distance, especially in the Enduro test -to repeated 3 times together with the Cross and the Extreme test-.
After the extraordinary performance in the first round with the double class win and the success in the Overall, also this weekend Thomas Oldrati was ruler of the 250 4T class.
On Saturday he was second for a breath, while on Sunday he achieved an outstanding victory, getting the double third place in the Overall classification too. Excellent results that proves his great pace and make him first both in the 250 4T and in the Overall.
Race conditioned by the strong heat for Daniel McCanney and Roni Kytonen, that race in the foreign classification. The English finished 9thon Saturday, while on Sunday he improved his times by finishing 6th; while the Finnish finished twice 8th.
The next round of the Enduro Italian Championship is scheduled on 3rd-4thOctober in Breno, near Brescia, while on 20thand 27thSeptember there will be the first two round of the Enduro World Championship in France and Italy.
