This weekend the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team will face the second Italian round of the Enduro World Championship.

Two months after the Italian GP in Pietramurata, this time it is the turn of Edolo, situated in a traditionally off-road area, to host the sixth round of the season. It will be a key event for the team.

Davide Guarneri is ready to come back fighting in the E1 class, after a period of over four months without riding due to the crash at the Portuguese GP. Thomas Oldrati will be looking for a top-three finish in the E2 class, while Emanuele Facchetti will hoping for a good result in the EJ1 class.

All three Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team riders have also been selected by the Italian Federation to be part of the Italian Team at the Six Days in Viña del Mar, Chile (November 12-17).

Alex Snow will once again be a special guest rider for the team, after his excellent outing at the Estonian GP saw him come away with two fourth place finishes.

The GP of Italy has a 44km route to be repeated four times a day with three special tests: one Extreme Test of about 2km, one Cross Test of about 4km and one Enduro Test of about 9km. The Super Test is scheduled for late afternoon on Friday.

On Friday at 5pm (local time) there will be the world premiere of the new Honda CRF Enduro Racing 2019 range. A completely renewed range dedicated to enduro, including 450cc, 400cc, 250cc and the long-awaited CRF300RX.

After the crash in Portugal I kept still for three months because of vertebrae muscular problems. Finally, this month I resumed my motorcycle training: I can’t wait to go to the track and race the home GP. I’ll do my best to get a good result.

I’m so motivated for this GP: race in Italy, close to home, is always charming. In August I worked with the team trying out some new set up to face in the best way Edolo GP and the next competitions.

Is so motivating to race another GP with the team led by Matteo Boffelli. I’ll do my best as I did in Estonia, where I finished fourth both days, so close to the podium.

We arrive in Edolo with the awareness of being able to get a good result with our riders. Throughout August we kept on working developing some new details for our Honda RedMoto CRF250R Enduro and CRF450RX Enduro. That also in view of the delivery of the bikes in mid-September for the Enduro Six Days in Chile. The new set-up improved traction and engine performance too, confirming the progress made by Honda RedMoto, Pellegrinelli and the technicians. We’ll face this GP with the aims to get good results.
