There has been no rest for Honda’s World Enduro teams, as they head straight from Greece to Italy, for their home round in Rovetta, near Bergamo.
Thomas Oldrati (Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team) is back to Bergamo from Greece after the amazing double podium in the E1 class and the third step of the podium in EnduroGP, while team mate Christophe Charlier ruled the E2 class.
The Honda RedMoto Lunigiana Team will also be looking for great results at home with Davide Guarneri aboard the Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro in the hard-fought E1 class and Davide Soreca in the E2 class with the new Honda-RedMoto CRF 300RX.
Alex Salvini (Team S2 Motorsport Sembenini Honda-RedMoto) faces the challenge of racing less than seven days after dislocating his right shoulder. Despite this, he is ready to push in front of the home crowd, fans and enduro lovers – and of course hold on to his championship lead.
The riders and team will face a race with a huge number of fans all over the four different special tests, organised by the Moto Club Bergamo, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary.
The Italian Grand Prix will start in the late afternoon of Friday with the Supertest, while on Saturday the race will start at 9am local time.
