Honda Racing Thanks Day is a globally unique event, because no other manufacturer contests as many motorsport championships as Honda; from Formula 1 to MotoGP, from IndyCar to World Touring Car, from World Superbike to the Endurance World Championship, from MXGP to Trial and from Japan’s Super GT to its Super Formula car series.
Held this year, on Sunday 10th November at Twin Ring Motegi, Honda Racing Thanks Day is a free-to-enter event that allows Honda to show its gratitude to race fans for their support. Over 17,000 fans were greeted by glorious sunshine, where they were able to get closer than ever to the machines – both past and present – that they love.
Dozens of the world’s top Honda drivers and riders took part in the event: Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda F1 driver Daniil Kyvat, Indy 500 winner Takuma Sato, MotoGP riders Cal Crutchlow and Takaaki Nakagami, former F1 World Champion and Japanese GT500 Champion Jenson Button, World Touring Car Cup leader Esteban Guerrieri and many more.
The day was packed with fun races, contested by drivers and riders who fought like they were racing for World Championship victory!
