We have an enduro world championship to again defend this year (Mika's third) so the Jolly Racing team have spent much time in Spain winter training. They’ve been troubled by atrocious weather but as our world champ Mika called me to say, ‘No problem – this is perfect training for enduro!’ I love his enthusiasm. Ahola's team-mates, the Italians Fabio Mossini and Oscar Balletti learnt much last year and showed plenty of speed (and each won an Italian championship on the way!) and so look set to fire into the top-five in their respective classes this season. The team have a young French contingent again joining them and we can expect more fireworks from Julien Gauthier and the sensation of the Juniors in 2009, Jeremy Joly.
In enduro you need to be on the podium from the first race to the last – and racking up the wins – or you'll not be a contender for the title. We're really confident this year that the team are 100% ready. Bring on the Spanish GP on 10 April – see you there?
