That was good. I learned a lot - it was the first time I've done an hour stretch. Luckily I had my hydro pack so I had that half way through and ut gave me a second wind. That was tough going. It takes ages to settle down. There are a few people absolutely on it, you go out with new tyres on, it's all a bit patchy and damp. I settled into a rhythm the best I could. I'm absolutely pumped! That was my first Bol d'Or start, so I've done the Bol d'Or and Le Mans now which is really exciting. It was a great start, the team made a fantastic tyre choice for the conditions. The hard wet worked really well and lasted the whole distance, which is phenomenal.

It was a frustrating session due to a lot of traffic. I’ve been quicker around here before so I know there is more to come. It’s a good start. It would be nice to finish a bit higher up tomorrow so I’m sure we can all work hard and improve to bump up a few positions for the race.

I'm a little disappointed as I think we are better than 11th on the grid. I had a few little problems in my session and there was a lot of traffic, so it was hard to get laps in on a clear road.
