Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team arrives in Spain to face the second round of the Enduro World Championship. The race will take place in Puerto Lumbreras, in the south of Murcia Region.

It is an important round for Davide Soreca, Davide Guarneri and Giacomo Redondi, who are ready to replicate the excellent performance of the Italian Championship and the first round of the World Championship with the Honda-RedMoto CRF 250R Enduro and the new Honda-RedMoto CRF 450RX Enduro with electric starter.

There were amazing results in Finland: Soreca finished second twice in the EJ class, Redondi was close to the third position in the EnduroGP, and Guarneri was in the top ten of the Enduro2, despite only having had a few days to adapt to the studded tyres.

The race in Spain will be a new starting point for all the riders with an Enduro Test, a Cross Test and an Extreme Test with hard ground and stones.

Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team riders’ goal is to confirm performance and competitiveness, keeping on working with the team and the technical staff.

The race in Puerto Lumbreras will start on Friday in the late afternoon with the special prologue shakedown. On Saturday and on Sunday the race will start at 9.00 am (arrival at about 4.00 pm).

The results and the feeling with the new bike has given me a lot of confidence: the CRF450RX Enduro is strong on all types of tracks and this means that we are working well. I'm confident that we'll get good results in Puerto Lumbreras.

The GP in Spain is really special with a big supporting crowd. We are continuing to develop the bike; now it's important to work on the set-up and the power, because there will be three different special tests. It won't be an easy weekend, but we have the potential to do well and I'll do my best.

Spain's ground is similar to that of Bordighera, where I live and train. There will be new adversaries and competitive riders but i'm ready to work hard on my Honda-RedMoto CRF250R Enduro with the team. I'm confident to get a good result.

The first race of the World Championship was something new for us, racing on ice with studded tyres was difficult, even if the results were good. The level is high but we worked hard during the winter and in the first three rounds of the Italian Championship with a positive progress. In Spain we are confident to make a further step forward: we can fight for the top positions and we continue to work hard.
